Wilder Harrier Pet Pantry

Indie dog food company, Wilder Harrier, wanted to find a way to connect with pet parents on issues that concern them.

With the cost of living rising we’ve seen many resources pop up to help out families.
But despite the fact that more than 60% of Canadian families having a dog or a cat, resources to help with pet food insecurity were scarce—until now.

Meet the WH Community Pet Pantry.

Pets know nothing about inflation and we aim to keep it that way by providing an easy way for pet parents to grab extra food when they need it (or donate food when they have some to spare).

We installed the first four pantries in neighbourhoods around Toronto (with more on the way) and used clever stickers placed where dog owners would see them to alert the community.

The response was immediate—before the launch was even official neighbourhoods were already filling the pantries with their own donations (and taking what they needed for their furbabies in need).

And the press we got confirmed what we already knew: that this wasn’t just a good idea but an necessity that would help keep pet owners and their pets together forever.
